Do You Qualify?

We are looking for women who meet the following:

  • Between the ages of 21 and 28
  • Reside in Hawaii (preferably Oahu)
  • Healthy
  • Non-smoker
  • Drug and disease-free
  • College-educated or have a high school diploma/GED
  • Able to access family medical history (on both sides)
  • Committed to all screening appointments

What You Get:

  • Up to $40,000 in total compensation. Earn $5,000 to $9,000 per cycle, for up to 6 donation cycles
  • Free fertility and genetic carrier screening (a $1,000+ value)
  • $30 gift cards at each screening visit, up to 3 visits
  • $250 referral bonus for every friend you refer who completes a cycle, with no limit on how many times you can earn it

How It Works:

  1. Apply – Complete our online application (about 5 minutes).
  2. Screening – Complete a brief phone call with our Donor Coordinator, followed by in-person screening appointments to include:
    1. A complete physical, pelvic, and breast exam with one of our on-site Providers.
    2. Blood and urine labs to test for infectious diseases, genetic conditions, and a drug screening panel
    3. Transvaginal ultrasound for ovarian monitoring.
    4. Genetic Consultation
    5. Psychological evaluation.

New donors can expect to complete their screening in 2-3 months.

  1. Donation Cycle – After teaching you to self-administer your medication, we’ll monitor your body’s response over ~5-8 appointment visits. This process takes ~4 weeks.
  2. Egg Retrieval – On retrieval day, you’ll receive IV sedation while a physician performs a minimally invasive, 20-minute retrieval.
  3. Recover – Most donors are back to normal activity within a day or two.
  4. Get Paid – Receive your donor stipend after your egg retrieval. We offer generous compensation, ranging from $5,000 to $9,000 per donation cycle. Over six donation cycles, individuals can earn up to $40,000.

Why Donate with FIH:

As a partner of Donor Egg Bank USA, we can cycle donors for frozen donation cycles immediately, so your donor journey runs on your schedule and doesn’t rely on waiting for a recipient match. As an egg donor, you will also gain insights into your own fertility, genetic, and health screening results throughout the process.

FAQs

Is there a cost to me?

Not at all. We truly value the dedication you show in helping families, so there are no out-of-pocket expenses for you, and you’ll receive a gift card at each screening visit as a thank-you.

How fast can I start?

As soon as you complete screening, we can cycle you right away.

What are the benefits of being an Egg Donor?

While you help families realize their dreams, you’ll also gain valuable insights into your own health. This includes a comprehensive fertility assessment covering your ovarian reserve and reproductive health. You’re also compensated for your generosity, and as an Egg Donor with FIH, you can earn up to $40,000.

Will donating my eggs affect my future fertility?

No. Your future ovarian reserve and fertility are not affected in any way. You’re born with a finite number of eggs, and each month your body naturally recruits a group, but only one is released during ovulation. Your body naturally discards the remaining eggs in that group, whether or not you donate them. Egg donation involves using medication to stimulate the maturation of more eggs from that same monthly group, so the eggs donated are those your body would have discarded anyway.

What are the side effects?

Most donors have minimal side effects, including bruising, headaches, fatigue, or bloating from the medication. The egg retrieval itself takes about 20 minutes under anesthesia. Serious complications like OHSS occur in less than 1% of cycles.

How long is the whole process?

About 3 to 4 months total, including 2 to 3 months of screening, then ~4 weeks to complete the donation cycle and egg retrieval.

How long are the appointments?

We try our best to provide scheduling flexibility that works for you. Typically, screening visits last about 30 minutes, though the psychological assessment requires a 2-3 hour window and can be done remotely on your time. On the day of your retrieval, plan to be at our clinic for about 2-3 hours, then go home for a full day of rest after discharge.
