25% Self-Pay Treatment Discount

At the Fertility Institute of Hawaii, we are honored to support the men and women who serve our country. Our Military Discount Program offers 25% off qualifying self-pay fertility treatments for active-duty service members, reservists, veterans, and their spouses.

Compassion and understanding

Dr. John Frattarelli served for 13-years in the United States Army before leaving with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Frattarelli trained at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Bethesda Naval Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health. During his tenure in Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center, he served as the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Division Director and the IVF Program and Medical Director. 

As the current Medical, Laboratory, and Practice Director at the Fertility Institute of Hawaii, he personally knows the hardships and sacrifices that families in the armed forces make. We hope that by providing these discounts to military families in need, we can help make a difference. This is our way of saying MAHALO for your service.

Eligibility requirements

• Active U.S. military or reservist with a U.S. military identification card
• Must be a current or new patient
• No insurance coverage for fertility treatment
• Patients may not use it if enrolled in a clinical trial or research study

• Initial consultation and follow-up evaluations
• In-office procedures: Ultrasounds, saline sonohysterogram (SIS), blood tests
• Timed intercourse and natural cycles
• Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
• In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
• Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
